Today I watched, on dvd, "The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys". Awesome. I realized how I like thoughtful coming of age movies (I particularly like "The Cure", and that Australian film I forgot the title, is also neat). It doesn't matter to me that they're about teenagers and I'm not. It's not that I'm left out in the timeline and I could totally relate to them, nor is it because my teen life was as adventurous as theirs, it was not. I don't know, I just like the feel of it. It's so much fun and thought provoking (well, it didn't really send me reflecting and all) and you don't have to be an adolescent to relate coz it is afterall about life's lessons, and that doesn't come to us automatically when we're fifteen. It's a case to case basis. It's just nice how with just one sitting you see a life get transformed (it's more than boy meet girl vice versa story). It seems like you just take one step and you're totally a different person. It's like crossing a line and you're there, like a boundary between states. Know what I mean? Anyways. This movie is one of the best I've seen, ever.
