I had the film developed but to my disappointment (and I got very disappointed), a lot of the Lucban shots were out of focus. I'll see if sharpening (thru Adobe photoshop) could improve them. How was the trip to Lucban (yesterday, with Pam, Marlon, & Jeremy)? I got so tired but I enjoyed it a lot.
Pahiyas Festival: After we arrived at CJ's (where we finally saw his cute little baby, Matty), and had a snack, we went to see the colorful, creatively designed houses with their colorful kipings. I thought there was just a block of these decorated houses, well...i took us around two hours, i think, to see just half of them (where we met some classmates & friends sight-seeing, too; and where Jeremy acquired some fans who were shouting out I love you's--but no, he wasn't too pleased coz they were... well...gay). After lunch, we didn't continue walking down the streets coz it was just too hot (we were sweating like pigs!), and we saw lots of them houses already. We went instead to CJ's much hyped hacienda (but not as hyped as Kitchie's). It's a cool place, his family got a cozy home in the middle of the land (BIG piece of land that one) and it comes with a small river where we cooled down (only to get a good work out going back up again).
We also saw a big-time politician, Imee Marcos, and had a picture taken with her, (all that in CJ's cafe, err...her mom's cafe). Wow, as you can see, our dear CJ is not only really a haciendero, but he also got some heavy political connections! Hehe. Before we left, CJ's mom gave us some food stuff to take home (thanks Tita!). Though I think my driving got them some scare at one point or another (I'll never forget that fearful sigh Jeremy let out as another vehicle nearly grazed our car), and although we got a bit lost, we arrived home in one piece.
