Friday Five time!

1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not?
Generally, I don't. I'd rather talk when we're face to face and I can see her facial expression. But I enjoy talking to old friends who I haven't seen for sometime.

2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone?
Marvin, this morning when he called to ask about the topic I assigned him.

3. About how many telephones do you have at home?
One phone/fax downstairs, 1 in my room, another in my sister's room, 1 in the master's bedroom, and 1 upstairs (my brothers' bedroom), that makes it 5 phones. All of us have mobile phones, too (every Filipino owns a mobile phone! ok, that's exagerrating but, hey, we're the text capital of the wolrd...and I'm not sure if I should be happy about that) .

4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened?
I'm sure I have...lemme see...prank callers. Oh there was this rude secretary in a company my dad asked me to call to inquire about their officers and she was like we don't give out names. Yeah right! like I found the name of the president (with his dashing photo, too...not) in their calendar. And she talked like she was addressing an annoying kid! Hello! It was she who was annoying, just coz it was an unholy hour (1 pm) doesn't mean she could talk like that. Even if she doesn't feel like answering call, she should try harder coz that's her job.

5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not?
I find it not too easy organizing my thoughts, especially when there's not much to tell, so I'd pick up the phone. It's easier to converse that way. There are times though when I'm more expressive on paper, but that's not always the case.
