Saw an old movie, The Age of Innocense. It brought out strong feelings the way The English Patient and Bridges of Madison County did. Passion. Sadness. Loss. Pain. I never liked sad endings but these three movies were among the prettiest that I've seen. Beauty of sadness depicted. Perhaps because the romantic in me easily gets drawn to the intense emotions they evoked. Broken love. Passion with clipped wings. Reflections of my fears.
