The result of the Physician Licensure Exam (Aug. 2006) went out last night. The only hope that I'd make it was God. So there I was, seq. no. 1433 in the roll. The best thing about last night was hearing my dad laugh after I told him I passed. He sounded serious when he called (my parents were the 1st persons I called, my dad, however, was still out, so only my mom got to hear it first). I asked him if already knew the result, asked him if he checked the website out already. Not yet. Then I said, "I passed." What? "I passed." Then he was the usual formal authority sounding "Congratulations!...", and then... he laughed. Apparently, my mom didn't tell him yet, or I think my mom told him that I didn't make it. And mom, in the background was laughing. I guess, that made their day.
