Dad's probably in Jakarta now. He left yesterday but stopped over Kuala Lumpur. It's a bummer the plan to go snorkeling in Anilao didn't push through. We visited the Baywalk instead where we dined beside the smelly Manila Bay (known for its beautiful view of the sunset). Baywalk would've been a nice hangout in this busy capital, but the water is so polluted. It's ironic to see a man holding a fishing rod when, as far as I know, it can't sustain a fish's life, only a bacteria's. And so, we ate at Cafe Adreatico, and saw some of the nightlife at the area. Dad said he'll be back in June and we better organize an activity for the family. There's still Anilao on the list, but we'd also like to check out Kalayaan and Caleruega. All beaches. Now isn't June a rainy month? Whatever, I hope I get a weekend off then.
