I can agree with that right away. Come on... seven years? It's especially harder when they're both your friends. But there's always a brighter side. It may be just one of those trials. If otherwise, why not take a look at the bigger picture? Consider the long run. I've learned that it can actually be a cause for celebration, that is, if they're not really meant to be together (a match not made in Heaven). I mean, imagine, it would be so much more complicated and tougher if this happens inside marriage, worse if they've got kids. It's cliche, but i'll say it... there's a reason why they have to go through this now. And one of the best things they can do is pray for discernment.
