MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The story of Christmas is not just about the birth of our Lord Jesus Chirst, it's also about a family, the Holy Family. And speaking of family, here's the sad truth about mine. I think ours is a dysfunctional one. There's no problem with my dad & mom, it's with our relationship with one of my brothers. We were hoping that it's just this stage, he's just in this rebellious stage, a lot of people go through that, don't they. But he's already 21 and it's just getting worse. There just is a sense of hopelessness. I know this should be a joyful season, but with regards to this aspect of the family, it's something we have to face. I don't know what to do about it, neither do my parents. Maybe it's just a case of misunderstanding. But whatever it is, all I can pray for is that may the Lord enlighten him. May God bring back the brother I've known years ago, the one I can laugh with and be buddies with. And may he realize that we're still family no matter what. That means, we'll love him no matter what.
